EUROPE · PREMIUM PLAY MATS
Fast design validation with detail-level compliance support.
A premium Puzzle and Foldable Mat program moved from artwork to physical validation while keeping testing and launch details in view.

Project overview
From market need to a practical product program.
The challenge
A premium European baby brand needed distinctive Puzzle and Foldable Mats while avoiding tooling risk and meeting strict full-product and component testing requirements.
Our approach
We produced print samples directly from design files, air-shipped them for early approval and coordinated EN71 and REACH testing. An extra packaging migration test was completed within one week after launch.
The outcome
Both mats launched successfully, one became a key promoted model, and the project established a foundation for continued development.
What changed
Three decisions that shaped the result.
Validated the design before tooling risk
Print samples were produced directly from the customer’s design files and sent by air for an early review of color and visual direction.
Coordinated detailed compliance work
Full-product and component requirements were translated into an EN71 and REACH testing plan around the final configuration.
Responded quickly after launch
When an additional packaging migration test was requested, the work was coordinated and completed within one week.
Project takeaways
What this case demonstrates.
- Fast physical sampling helps premium brands confirm visual direction before heavier investment.
- Compliance questions should be tied to the final product and packaging configuration.
- Responsive support after launch can be as important as the original development work.
