Privacy Policy

Michael Export is a personal professional portfolio operated by Michael Chen (“Michael”). This policy explains what information the website collects, why it is used and the choices available to visitors.

1. Information collected

When you submit a request for quotation, the website may collect your name, company, business email, WhatsApp number, country or market, product interest, expected quantity, certification requirements, customization requirements, purchasing timeframe and the page or campaign that led to the inquiry.

When analytics is accepted, aggregated technical and usage information may be collected, including pages viewed, approximate country, referral source and interactions such as product views, downloads, form submissions and clicks on email or WhatsApp links.

2. How information is used

Information is used to assess and respond to business inquiries, identify suitable products or configurations, coordinate quotations and samples, improve website content, understand market interest and protect the website from spam or misuse.

3. Inquiry handling

Michael Export is not an online shop. RFQ information may be forwarded to a relevant supplier or company team when this is necessary to evaluate a product, specification, compliance request, quotation or production project. Information is not sold to third parties.

4. Retention

RFQ information is normally retained for up to 24 months from submission and is then deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active project, legal obligation, dispute or requested business record.

5. Service providers

The website uses hosting and database infrastructure provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Google Analytics may process consented usage information. When email notifications are enabled, a transactional email provider such as Resend may process the inquiry solely to deliver the notification. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.

6. Analytics and consent

Google Analytics is kept separate from any BABYGO consumer retail analytics. Analytics is activated only after a visitor accepts it through the website consent notice. You may decline analytics and still view products, case studies and market insights or submit an RFQ.

7. International processing

Because visitors, hosting providers, email services and business partners may be located in different countries, information may be processed outside your country. Reasonable steps are taken to limit information to what is needed for the stated purpose.

8. Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete information submitted through the website, subject to applicable legal and business-record requirements. You may also withdraw analytics consent by clearing the website preference in your browser and revisiting the site.

9. Privacy requests

Privacy questions and data-access or deletion requests may be submitted through the website RFQ form. Please describe the request clearly in the customization field.
